Morgan completed her high school studies and went on to join the University of Florida where she graduated. She initially began her career as a general assignment and political reporter working in Fort Myers, Florida.
She then relocated to California where she worked as a political correspondent for different TV stations in San Diego and Sacramento. While working in California, she had the breakthrough of reporting different stories including covering Governor Gavin Newsom’s recall and gubernatorial elections.
She also did extensive coverage of legislation coming out of the Capitol and covered breaking news like snowstorms, and atmospheric rivers among other news. In August 2023, she went on to join the CBS News Miami team as a reporter and is happy to finally be back home as she grew up in Miami Beach.
